My name is Sophie, I am 10 years old, and I am the face behind Sophie’s Sensational Scents. I started the business in the spring of 2022 after participating the Young Entrepreneur program at my school.

People often ask me why I decided to donate $1 from each candle sold to BC Children’s Hospital. The answer is because I know many different people that have had to go there, and I know how important of a place it is for so many different kids. I also donate my hair there every few years when it is long enough through Wigs for Kids BC.

My dream for when I am older is to be a dairy farmer and my goal behind selling candles is to have enough money one day to buy my own dairy farm.
